Home Staging Report 2019
After surveying over 330 independent estate agents and other property professionals across the UK, the Home Staging Association UK & Ireland has just released the 2019 report.
"Home Staging focuses on presenting a property to its best so that it is sold or rented more quickly and at a better price. It aims to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, helping the viewers to envision themselves living at that property and embracing such lifestyle." Home staging is a rapidly growing industry in the UK and the results of this latest report show how much property professionals and estate agents value the impact of home staging.
Key findings from the 2019 Report
The responses from the property professionals and estate agents produced the following statistics;
- 100% agreed that home staging makes it easier for a buyer to visualise the property as their future home.
- 94% said that staging increases the number of viewings.
- 86% said home staged houses will sell up to 3 times faster than non-staged homes.
- 78% said home staging would increase the offer value of a property by up to 10%.
